Yes: An HCG level of greater than 25 is diagnostic of pregnancy. Less than 5 rules out pregnancy. Between 5 and 25 requires a retest in 2-3 days. You may do a home pregnancy test using first morning urine. Follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you had sex since your last period and missed your period by 4-5 days, and the urine test is negative, repeat it in 4-5 days. Wish you good health!
