I had rectal chlamydia for about 5 months, could a gi internal fistula have developed, or is that unlikely given the time frame and infection?

Fissure/Fistula: A Fistula usually develops from an untreated and chronically infected anal fissure. Chlamydia is usually secondary and not related to this common surgical problem.

Unlikely: If you have any symptoms of a fistula have an exam of your lower bowel area. If you are feeling well it is unlikely.
