Dr. SG Erman answered

Prescription: See your physician, there are at least two prescription antibiotics to treat threadworm. It is important to take one pill now, and repeat one pill in two weeks. Also important to treat family members to prevent spread and we contamination. Pregnant and nursing mothers cannot take this antibiotic.
