Probably not: Upper respiratory symptoms like cough or congestion with a sore throat is much more suggestive of a viral pharyngitis than a step infection. Strep is usually characterized by high fevers & headache or stomachache WITHOUT cold symptoms. Even so, missing antibiotic doses increases the risk of inadequate treatment & early recurrence. --> rest, drink fluids & see your MD if the symptoms progress.

Strep throat: It definitely sounds like recurrence of strep infection. You may need to tested again and started on antibiotic if positive.

Possibly: Strep throat can reoccur. This can happen if you miss pills or if you are re exposed to the strep bacteria. Be rechecked with a throat swab to see if you still have strep.
