Doc's right: Flutamide has low priority in antiandrogen management. In addition to its antiandrogenic side effects, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting are relatively frequent side effects. Although hepatotoxicity is uncommon, it can be fatal; serum aminotransferases should be closely monitored during therapy. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

No cysts, no elevated/abnormal male hormones. Only symptoms are weight gain and irregular period. Doc says it's PCOS. Have I been falsely diagnosed?
