Menstrual cramps: It sounds like menstrual cramps without the actual flow. Ibuprofen, a prostaglandin inhibitor, and a heating pad are good choices for help. Endometrial ablation may stop the flow, but it doesn't stop the pituitary from running the cycle including cramps. If this gets worse talk to your GYN about a more definitive measure of treatment.
