My cycle began 12 days before my first lh surge my second surge came 19 days later but i only got one reading the rest were - was the second a fluke?

Ovulation kits: Ovulation kits check your level or urinary LH. Once at or above that level it will turn positive. However, it only predicts ovulation. If you're having fertility issues you may have variable LH levels that will give you a false positive LH surge. Have your OB look at your cycles documentation and what days you surged and see if they think you might have need of additional treatment
