Yes...: In the office, most pediatricians will usually check a urine pregnancy test. If for any reason they determine that you need a blood test, they certainly can order it...

Peds & pregnancy: A pediatrician can see patients under the age of 21, so yes--s/he can check your blood to see if you are pregnant. We usually start with a urine pregnancy test, and if positive we order a serum HCG to check the level.
