Threatened abortion?: The definition of threatened abortion is first trimester bleeding with an intrauterine pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy would be another possibility. See your gynecologist and have serial beta HCG and transvaginal sonograms to exclude serious complications. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck! most threatened abortions go on to a normal pregnancy outcome. Pelvic rest and avoid exercise!
