Ankle sprain 2 weeks: The ankle needs to be evaluated; x-rays are needed to check for any fractures. If there is still swelling, try to keep the ankle elevated and apply ice/cold on it for 20-30 minutes, a few times a day but an hour or so between the ice/cold applications. Treatment will depend on what is seen on the x-rays.
