Prenatal vit: Any prenatal vitamin by reputable company should be OK. It is important to have folate (folic acid), (folic acid) as folate (folic acid) deficiency is a cause of neural tube defects. Avoid medications that interfere with folate (folic acid) metabolism ( methotrexate, aminopterin, pyrimethamine, pentamidine, trimethoprim( sulfur drugs), anti-convulsants, barbituates, alcohol). Vit C and zinc is needed for folate (folic acid) metabolism. Healthy diet, veggies
