Moisturize hands.: Moisturize your hands with Vaseline. Do not use soap unless it is necessary and do not wash your hands frequently. If it does not get any better see a dermatologist .

Emollient: It sounds like you need to hydrate your skin. So I would try to find a lotion that is a good emollient possibly with lactic acid or urea to help with areas of thickened skin. Also I would try to avoid washing your hands too much too. Consider wearing gloves if you need to expose your hands to water frequently.
