CBT stands for: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and it is a form of psychotherapy. It is focused on the here and now and not analytic. Thinking generates feelings and it is focused on changing self talk / thoughts. Peace and good health. There are many types of therapy but the core conditions of things such as empathy, genuineness, and respect are want appear to promote the most progress.

Yes: Talk is not a technical term for psychotherapy. Cognitive behaviour therapy focuses on learning adaptive strategies to relieve symptom. Psychoanalytic therapy focuses on early life traumas and thier relationship to current symptoms.
