Injustice?: Talk therapy may help you understand and deal with your own responses to upsetting circumstances. There may be some things you want to do about these injustices, but you need resilience to work with them effectively. There may also be some things you are overly sensitive to -- your body is responding in ways (insomnia) that are harming your health. Talk therapy can help this also.

Talk Therapy: Talk therapy can be very effective if the match is right, you need to feel comfortable with your therapist or the process is unlikely to work. Look for someone who is caring, empathic but professional and objective. Insomnia can be caused by various factors, consult with your doctor to rule out medical reasons, then pursue therapy to address emotional reasons.
