Herpes: The forehead lesion could be early shingles(herpes zoster). See your physician as soon as possible as antiviral treatment may be needed and precautions necessary for potential eye involvement. Routine herpes simplex(cold sores) of the lip area is less serious potentially. See your physician even it if turns out to be a false alarm.
