Can you take the lemon + baking soda concoction for gout if you're breastfeeding ?

Gout Gout: If you have documented "gout", and are breast feeding, consult your healthcare provider for advice. A "lemon and baking soda" treatment will not affect your breast feeding or your infant, but will also not treat "gout". Other medications may affect breastfeeding so see your provider for advice.
