Hi, please advise if med lemon is safe to take while breastfeeding. baby is 2 weeks old. thanks.

Relatively safe: Although the aspirin content of this med makes it a danger in the last trimester of pregnancy, it is considered relatively safe during breastfeeding. A minor amount (<10%) will transfer in the milk. I would avoid it if the infant develops any signs of a flu like illness since aspirin must be avoided under age 16 yrs in such cases.
