Of course: Sounds more like anxiety than depression but the two often coexist. He's already taking Valium and Lexapro, (escitalopram) so it looks like he's getting some treatment. Also methotrexate (for RA?). Response to antidepressants and anxiolytics is very individual. Maybe he needs more meds. Or maybe he's suffering from a colcannon deficiency. More is always better.
