Bladder Infection: A bladder infection is caused by bacteria in the bladder and is treated by antibiotics. It can cause urinary frequency, pain with urination, and increased urge to go. It is not a sexually transmitted disease. It is usually diagnosed by evaluating the urine.

See Physician: A genitalurinary track infection means an infection in your genitals or your urinary track. Or even both. This can indead suggest an STI. It is treated with antibiotics. You should see you physician for evaluation and treatment. Especially if you are having fever and burning on urination.
