A member asked:

Would rubbing facial bones very hard wear the bone away/ cause resorption at all? if not then why does bone on bone friction cause resorption?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone: Two different things. Bone on bone such as in your knees implies that the cartilage protecting the joint has worn away. Rubbing your facial bones wont cause them to wear away
