Reaction: He could be experiencing either a primary irritation or an allergic skin reaction to a chemical product. With an allergic reaction itching is common and taking an antihistamine like claritin(nonsedating) or benadryl(causes drowsiness) may help. For further evaluation have a consultation with a dermatologist if the rash persists.
