A member asked:

I cannot supinate my right forearm. it came on suddenly one day, there was no previous trauma. gp did x-ray and mri it showed nothing. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PT, monitor: The supinator muscle is innervated by the deep branch of the radial nerve. Your symptoms may also be coming from the C8 level of the neck. Undergo physical therapy for now, and if the symptoms persist or worsen, see your physician again. You might be referred to a neurologist. http://neurosurgery.med.nyu.edu/conditions-we-treat/z-conditions-guide/supinator-syndrome
