DRYNESS!!: The most common reason for your symptoms provided you are not on a new medication of any kind is skin DRYNESS. Use an intensive hydrating lotion like Curel(OTC) Hope this helps Dr Z

Many: The itch pathway is far more complex than just a histamine effect. The first thing to look at would be dry skin and thus no harm in applying a moisturizer
