Ultrasound: Subchorionic hemorrhage can be found in early pregnancy and can sometimes cause spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy. This is something that usually resolves on its own without any problems for the mom or baby. Make sure you follow your OBs instructions and abstain from intercourse or significant physical activity and you should be fine. It will not kill you or the baby!

Won't hurt you.: A subchorionic hemorrhage/hematoma is a bleed between the pregnancy and the uterine wall. It is an US finding, that if coupled with vaginal bleeding, can potentially increase the risk of miscarriage/preterm delivery, but w/out vaginal bleeding, it's hard to say. Size matters; worse if bigger (covering ~50% of placental bed) or occurring later. It can heal itself, but you just have to wait/watch.
