1/6 risk miscarriage: 1/3. Bleed in pregnancy, 1/3 of those miscarry, 1/3. Continue bleeding and have a normal baby, 1/3 stop bleeding and have normal baby. There are no proven maneuvers to prevent. Early miscarriage but it makes sense to take it easy, no straining or sex until the bleeding stops and any clots have passed out as seen on ultrasound. Idea. To keep the uterus undisturbed to allow healing.
