I've had a blood test at a&e due to a broken nose they said i have a low white blood count and my mate said it's a sign of cancer as i ain't been ill.

Not true: A low blood count by itself is not indicative of cancer. See your family doctor to discuss the findings. Without knowing all the details I am unable to provide a more detailed answer.
