A member asked:

If ssi collects medical records for a continuing disability review is there still some dr-patient confidentiality or will they know everything i said?

Documentation: It depends on what your physician wrote in your medical records. As a patient, you have the right to obtain a copy of your medical records, to see which details of past conversations they contain. SSI will be able to see the same information that you are able to access. http://healthit.gov/patients-families/faqs/how-can-i-access-my-health-informationmedical-record
