Benefit Analysis: Weighing whether they can help you, weighing the cost to their reputation, impact on yours, and their qualitity of life. By taking on a potentially difficult situation, or patient, that others have already been unsuccessful in trying to help, the doctor is exposing themselves to potential harm if they fail or success if the perception/reality about their care for you exemplary .Is it worth it?
