Pregnancy is unlikel: Several things can cause you to miss periods. If your tubal ligation has worked for 5 years it is unlikely that it has failed now. To be sure, do a pregnancy test and, if it is negative, you should be seen for testing to find out what the problem is. Things like diabetes and thyroid disease can cause this and are more likely in your case than pregnancy. Good luck.
