Consider: Pts with MS can have lesions in the spinal cord affecting bladder and even bowel function. The typical result is an urgency incontinence secondary to loss of control. But a not infrequent complication of MS is a urinary tract infection, which may also result in loss of control. Treatment of infection may result in stabilization. Meds to assist these problems are readily available.
