MS: Steroids are often used in an ms exacerbation. The exacerbation could resolve on its own, but the steroids might make it cause less damage and not lat as long.

Should be treated: About 50% of untreated relapses do not resolve without treatment, leaving permanent disability. In virtually all cases of significant objective problems, I would treat with steroids or ACTH. But do not see a basic protective MS medication on your list. If you have MS, you should be treated with an ongoing agent in most cases.
