Possibly: Although not common, sharp pain can be caused by a deviated septum with a septal spur. Typically, septal deviation causes nasal obstruction as a symptom. Septoplasty (even in patients that have had previous nasal surgery) can help, but pain is not always fixed with surgery & the risks/benefits need to be weighted properly.
