Constipation: You take Linzess which is a Guanylate cyclase-C agonist. There is a class of anti constipation drugs known ass opiod receptor antagonists and one of those medications is call Methylnaltrexone and it is given once daily. However this is for people on narcotics. I hope your are not forgetting the basics, lots of fluids, high fiber and exercise.

Relistor (methylnaltrexone): Linzess it's indicated for constipation due to irritable bowel syndrome, or chronic idiopathic constipation which comes in 145 mcg or 290 mcg dosages. Relistor, (methylnaltrexone) on the other hand, are available in 8mg or 12 mg once a day injection which is indicated for opiate induced constipation. Depending on the cause of your constipation, your physician can determine which medication is more appropriate.
