A member asked:

I was wondering why people fear blood draw or injection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Phobias: Some people may be afraid due to the pain associated with needle stick. Others have a phobia of seeing blood. For others it may harken back to some unpleasant experience with healthcare providers. Phobias are by definition irrational.
