Ejection fraction: Likely, he/she was referring to the ejection fraction. This is a measure of the heart's strength & is always reported in echo reports. Normal is 55% or more. If the number is low, there are many causes and, with treatment, may improve. She should take medication prescribed and follow the advice given.
