Chlamydia: No, use of antibiotics to attempt eradication of this STD will not relieve the pain, which is due to the inflammation induced by the infection. There are OTC analgesics (pain relievers) such as aspirin, ibuprofen and other NSAIDS available and if these are not sufficient you can ask your doctor if there is anything else they would prescribe.

It could be a serious complication from your infection called pelvic inflammatory disease. If you have fevers, chills, nausea, vomiting or pelvic pain you should go back to your doctor immediately.
