High BP: Your BP is still High and you need to see your Dr as soon as possible to get it under better control. Some people require 2 or 3 Rx medications to get their Blood pressure under control. You need to follow-up with your Health Care provider and get the BP treated and followed up regularly with testing and adjustment of medications. Best wishes.

Time to see your Dr.: Blood pressure that high is unhealthy and even dangerous. Elevated blood pressure can cause excessive work for the heart, causing thickening of the muscle and therefore heart failure. The blood vessel walls are also at risk of either having a clot form on ruptured plaque or aneurysm and dissection. Your vision and kidneys are at high risk for damage. Call your MD now. An ER visit is reasonable.
