Exam required: Tast can be due to infected tooth or gums, medications or supplements, GERD, infected tonsils/adenoids, food debris/bacteria impacted between teeth, and so many other reasons. To recommend treatment cause of problem has to first be diagnosed. See BOTH your PCP and your Dentist to try to find out what's causing the problem and then recommend treatment.

Halitosis: Bad breath can be caused by many different factors, including sinus infections, periodontal problems, smoking, cavities, acid reflux, and your diet. Address all of these possibilities with your dentist and physician, and I'm confident that your problem will at least be minimized, and hopefully eradicated.
