Brush: A metallic taste in your mouth is a condition called dysgeusia. It is not life threatening, but can be inconvenient. Dysgeusia can be caused by upper respiratory tract infections, hormonal changes, some medications (such as Capoten or flagyl), tobacco smoke or nasal polyps.
