A member asked:

What causes a zapping pain inside you brain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The brain: Itself does not have pain fibers, the meninges do, as does the skull and scalp. Neurogenic pain tends to have a burning quality. Vascular and migrains tends to be dull, boring and throbbing. Not sure i know what to tell you about zapping. Get a neuro exam by your pcp, and let them decide neurologist of imaging.
