A member asked:

Hey i'm a nursing student trying to study heart conditions. i'd like to know if there is any difference between infarction and necrosis?? lol

Great question!: There are several different patterns of necrosis (cell death, for the non-nursing students reading this). Infarction is ischemic necrosis (cell death which occurs due to deficient circulation).
