Cluster-Tic Syndrome: This term is used to describe patients with cluster headache and trigeminal neuralgia. In this syndrome, the characteristic paroxysmal pains of trigeminal neuralgia are superimposed over a cluster headache. In some cases, the two conditions occur independently for years and then meld together into a common syndrome. Cluster is part of trigeminal autonomic cephalgias.
