Viral syndrome...: This could also be related to a virus and it may last up to 7 days to 10 days. As long as you start feeling progressively better it should resolved soon. IF you develop severe abdominal pain, blood in your stool, cannot tolerate anything by mouth the it is time to see your doctor. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids(for ex. Gatorade) and rest.
