A member asked:

Plugged ear after root canal/infection.. is it normal? antibiotics were taken

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Plugged ear: It could be normal due to tissue swelling from the procedure for the root canal. Soft tissue swelling may have occurred that blocked the Eustachian tube from draining which would make your ear feel plugged. If it lasts more that a few days or pain develops have it checked out.
