A member asked:

I took three different antibiotics today. one early afternoon. the other two, took it all together tonight. am i on the edge of overdosing myself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Overdose: Occassionally multiple medications are prescribed to treat disease or medical conditions. Medications should be taken only as prescribed by a qualified physician to avoid adverse effects. If a particular regimen was recommended, and taken as advised, benefit likely outweighs risk. People should never take medication that is expired or wasn't prescibed to them to avoid complications and toxicity
