I have bacterial vaginitis, and the pain hasnt left after taking 3 different antibiotics, two were just for pain but one was actually to treat the bacteria, and i got a shot. i dont know what else to do or where to go from here?

Yeast? Herpes? STD?: With just this info, it isn't clear how best to help. Actual vaginitis caused by bacteria is rare. Bacterial vaginosis (similar name but very different) is painless. Yeast infection can be painful and triggered by antibiotics used to treat the original infection. Make sure it isn't herpes, the most common cause of severe vaginal pain. Find a gyn who specializes in infectious diseases. Good luck!
