Bilirubin: There are 2 types of bilirubin and if they are abnormal can mean differ things. There is a a pattern when the unconjugated level is slightly high throughout life and is common in families. It is called Gilbert's. Ask your doctor to obtain a fractionated bilirubin to help with the diagnosis.
