Muscle pain?: Pinched nerve? It can be a muscle pain from muscles around shoulder blade or a pinched nerve. See your doctor.

Rib head pain: Pain between the shoulder blade and the spine often corresponds to inflammation where the rib head attaches to the spine. Alternatively, a tear in the rotator cuff can present with this type of pain. Please see a spine surgeon or neurosurgeon to evaluate your pain and formulate a treatment plan.
