Pill side effects: A common side effect of the pill is breakthrough bleeding or spotting due to changes in hormone levels. Other side effects which may be seen are headaches, nausea, breast soreness, decreased libido, moodiness, depression, and acne. You should consult your physician immediately if you experience any side effects on the pill.
