Stages and subtypes: There are generalized stages to rosacea from early flushing/blushing to late stage tissue hyperplasia(like the "potato nose") and even ocular(eye) inflammation. Subtype are somewhat similarly categorized based on the predominant findings. Remember your rash doesn't have to be rosacea, other rashes like those associated with lupus can present like you describe. Seek dermatologic input.
